Thousands of Elks volunteers give generously of their time, energy and resources to serve veterans and military members each day, to ensure that pledge is not an idle one.
Elks and their friends volunteered 1,249,959 hours in service to veterans in 2024-25.
Thanks to these volunteers, veterans know that the Elks will always show up for them.
Elk member and President John F. Kennedy once said, “As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words but to live by them.”
