The Montana Governor’s Veteran Commendation is a state award that honors military veterans who served our nation in uniform and continue to serve their local communities.
Governor Greg Gianforte started this program in 2021. Since then, the state has recognized over 230 veterans for their leadership, sacrifice, and ongoing work helping others.
Today’s Ceremony was also attended by the First Lady and took place the Army National Guard Armory in Belgrade, Montana.
