Dr. Paul L. Loeffelholz, 91, died on June 20th at The Springs Memory Care in Bozeman, MT. He was born on Feb. 27, 1934, in Carroll County, Iowa. He graduated from St. Benedict College, Atchison, Kansas and then from the School of Medicine at the University of Iowa in Iowa City.
Loeffelholz was drafted into the US Army during the Vietnam War and was deployed to Vietnam and assigned to the 93rd Evacuation Hospital.
The 93rd Evacuation Hospital served in Long Binh, Vietnam, from December 1965 to April 1971, becoming one of the largest and busiest medical facilities during the Vietnam War.
